The secret Gardens of Planet E – An Exhibition by Martin Oeggerli at the historic UNESCO protected site ‚Altes Bad Pfäfers‘
The exhibition, open from 24th of August to 5th of October, showcases selected works by artist and visual storyteller Martin Oeggerli, who has dedicated two decades into capturing microscopic forms of life and biological structures using the scanning electron microscope. His work merges scientific precision with artistic sensitivity and offers new perspectives on the seemingly invisible. Through extreme magnification and his meticulous hand-coloring, Oeggerli creates visual worlds that oscillate between reality and imagination.

We the Bacteria, 24th Triennale Milan
While at the same time, the «We the Bacteria» exhibition curated by Prof. Beatriz Colomina and Prof. Mark Wigley- continues to attract visitors from all around the globe.
It contains 15 of my works, including the original large format panorama version of the «Microbiome of a Kiss» which has been named «top 10 images of the year» by National Geographic right after publication in the magazine, in 2020.
The exhibition is on between: 13 May – Nov 2025.
